RP Collection: Baroque Pointe Shoe (SPB)
New from Russian Pointe, three beautiful models of pointe shoes that form the Sea of Pearls Collection - Akoya, Baroque, and Mabe.
Inspired by the elegant luster of pearls and the beauty of the sea, these handcrafted pointe shoes showcase lining that is made from recycled materials and ocean bound plastic - an important step in helping RP to cleanse the sea of harmful materials.
All Sea of Pearls models feature pre-arched construction which mimics the shape of the foot on pointe, highlights the arch while facilitating pointe work, and minimizes the break-in period.
The RP Baroque Pointe Shoes are constructed with a slightly tapered box, medium crown, wide toe platform, and a streamlined heel. They are best suited to dancers with even-length to moderately tapered toes, and a noticeable difference in width from the metatarsal area to the heel.
Features of Baroque include: • Fits "diamond" shaped feet with even to slightly tapered toes • Pleated, wide toe platform • Slightly tapered box • Narrows from metatarsal to heel • Medium crown • Pre-arched construction • Natural leather sole • U-Cut with drawstring
NOTES:
Pointe shoes do not come with elastic or ribbon.
We highly recommend a pointe shoe fitting if you are looking at these for the first time. Dancer's new to pointe must book a fitting to make sure a shoe is fit properly to their foot to prevent injury.
